This book discusses the basic concepts of government science, theories in government science, forms and systems of government, regional autonomy and decentralization, implementation of UU policies, bureaucratic reform and government innovation, public participation and democracy in government as well as contemporary issues in government science.

Governmental Science is a branch of social science that studies the processes, structures, and dynamics of government at various levels, from local to national to international. In this context, government is understood not only as formal institutions such as the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, but also encompasses all forms of power relations, authority, and responsibility inherent in social and political systems. This science arose from the need
to understand how power is exercised, how public decisionmaking occurs, and how the government interacts with society in order to achieve the general welfare. Over time, the definition of governmental science has expanded, following the increasingly complex dynamics of social, political, and economic change in society.
